The Research assistant will carry out fieldwork, drawing on sociological methods of community-based research, interviewing local people and collecting and evaluating individual-, family- and community stories and memories, also transgressing the two boundaries, related to World War I in the Sesto Dolomites. The Research assistant takes part in all the meetings of the project's research group, collaborates with the partner associations, with those in charge of historical and archaeological research, participatory heritage-making and dissemination. He/She contributes to the exhibition, the conference and the final publication. 29 Additional research activities in the context of other research projects on similar topics may be defined in due course with the mutual agreement between research assistant and supervisor. If the supervision of this activity taking place within another project is done in detail by a different professor/researcher, the main supervisor has to explicitly countersign the part of the report regarding the activity on additional research projects
